These easy to make, no-bake Chocolate Rum Truffles won't last long at your party and everyone will talk about them! Enjoy!

    1. Grind walnuts.
    2. In a large mixing bowl combine ground walnuts, cocoa, sugar, egg whites, rum extract and vanilla sugar.
    3. Using a hand mixer, mix until all ingredients are well combined.

      Mixture is semi-soft and is easy to model.

    1. Take 1 full tablespoon of the mixture and roll between palms into 1 inch ball.
    2. Place the chocolate rum ball in a bowl with coconut and roll the truffle around until evenly covered in coconut.
    3. Place truffle on serving plate.
    4. Repeat until all mixture is used.
    5. Let chocolate rum balls set in fridge before serving.
  3. Serve
    1. Arrange truffles on the serving plate and enjoy!
    2. If you have a bigger party, you can serve these chocolate rum balls with chocolate coconut roll

  4. If you prepared chocolate rum truffles in advance you can store them in a freezer until ready to use.

  5. Store
    1. Place truffles into plastic container.

      If you are storing truffles in more than one layer, place sheet of aluminium foil on top of the each layer of truffles so they do not glue to each other.

    2. Wrap the container in cling wrap.
      Cling wrap will seal the container, keep truffles' freshness and protect them from absorbing flavors from other food in freezer.

    3. Store plastic container with truffles in freezer.

      Allow frozen truffles to set in fridge or at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
